Chelsea
Living Rooms
This open-plan living space in Chelsea unfolds in two distinct halves: a formal sitting room at one end and a relaxed snug at the other. Langstaff was commissioned to create cabinetry that would connect both areas, visually and practically, while giving each its own identity. The result is a single, flowing room with a shared material language.

Where Detail Leads
At both ends of the space, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry forms the focal point, contemporary in profile yet layered with detail. In the snug, antiqued mirrors studded with brass cabochons conceal a hidden TV behind a pocket door system; in the formal living room, they frame the LED-lit shelving, casting a warm glow back into the space. The grid-set shaker panels are traced with brass inlay, while the grain of the pressed ash veneer shifts in direction—horizontal, vertical, always deliberate.
